Sorting Out Our Communication Wants & Needs
Several health councils have requested TA in communications. We addressed a bit of social media, but you may have other desires to improve communication—perhaps motivating community members to attend meetings; how to engage people; framing advocacy messages; making messages “stand out;” designing creative flyers/posters/newsletters; building a strategic communication plan; how to address misinformation; and more. Come to this session at 10:00 am on July 29 for a friendly discussion about your communication wants and to develop some fun or user-friendly ways for us to help you resolve them. More information.
We are holding these optional refresher trainings for Health Councils participating in the Health Equity & Community Rebuilding Program as a way to share reminders and more details about topics of particular importance or interest to health councils.
The topics covered in these trainings are diverse and flexible, so reach out to Susie (susie@nmhealthcouncils.org) if there is a topic you would like to see in an upcoming training.
These trainings are not required and supplemental, and will be held on the last Friday of the month at 10AM.
