Access Free At-Home COVID-19 Test Kits

Several agencies and organizations are offering free at-home testing to New Mexicans:

Federal Test-Kits. Starting on Wednesday January 19th, the White House will launch a program where people can either call in or order take-home tests via covidtests.gov. These tests will take 7-12 days to get to your home after you order them.

In order to help get tests ordered in the hardest-hit, highest-risk communities, the White House is offering a short, early-access period for individuals in certain ZIP codes that correspond to the highest COVID-19 risk, starting on January 18th.  Check here to see if your zip code is on this list.

There are 2 ways to order test kits:

  1. Online. Go to the NACHW webpage, or covidtests.gov

  2. Over the phone. Via CDC Call Center: 1-800-232-0233 (TTY 1-888-720-7489)
