Morgan Chavez was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM and has remained in the community. She is a Sr. Health Policy Analyst at Health Care Service Corporation, a subsidiary of BlueCross BlueShield of New Mexico (BCBSNM).

Morgan has been with BCBSNM for over four years. She has over five years of experience with the State legislative process, in both lobbying and policy work. Additionally, she has two years of community and grassroots organizing, and over five years of management experience at various local restaurants. Mogan also has clinical experience in the behavioral health field, as a past ABA therapy provider.

Morgan is extremely thankful to serve in her current role working on policies that directly affect the health care of New Mexicans. Morgan holds a graduate degree in public health policy from the George Washington University and a bachelor’s in political science from the University of New Mexico.
