Emma is the Community Health Council Coordinator for Grant County in Southwest New Mexico, and she is so grateful to Valeria and the entire New Mexico Alliance of Health Councils team for this incredible opportunity. With a background in violence prevention, advocacy, public health, and harm reduction, she utilizes her skills in organizing, collaboration, and problem solving to promote health, wellness, and accessibility within the community. She is deeply devoted to rural and frontier communities and hopes to use this devotion to highlight the strengths and needs and of our communities on the board of the New Mexico Alliance of Health Councils. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, crafting, traveling, gardening, and backpacking in the beautiful Gila Wilderness.
