COVID Updates & Resources
COVID-19 Is Not Over!!
Full vaccination is still NM’s first priority. Currently, 60% of New Mexicans are fully vaccinated. Seven of our counties now have 80% or more of their residents fully vaccinated: Los Alamos (93%), McKinley (91%), Rio Arriba (87%), Taos (87%), Santa Fe (85%), Sandoval (81%), and Luna (80%). [See how your county is doing]
All New Mexicans age 5 and older are approved to be vaccinated. Everyone 18 and older is eligible for a booster 6 months after completing the Pfizer/Moderna vaccination series and 2 months after a J&J vaccination. See
below for information on how to help New Mexicans get vaccinated.
Welcome to the Better Together NM Program!
Getting residents of New Mexico fully vaccinated may be the single most important thing we can do to maximize the longevity, health and wellness of our community and our state. The vaccination rate impacts our entire population locally and globally. We are in unprecedented times, and we must call on every resident to do their part by activating the largest and the smallest organizations to have an impact in their circle of influence. No group is too small. We must engage our community to realize our full potential!
In our resource center anyone can explore COVID-19 Marketing Materials, Community Resources, Financial Assistant Programs, Research, and more.
The Better Together Grant Program was created to contract with established New Mexico organizations that support COVID-19 vaccination and outreach efforts throughout NM.
