COVID-19 Updates & Resources

Stay Ahead of COVID

The Dept. of Health has a new website to help you stay ahead of COVID 19. Check it out here.

Full vaccination is still NM’s first priority. Currently, 75% of New Mexicans adults are fully vaccinated. Seven of our counties now have 80% or more of their residents fully vaccinated. In three of our counties, less than half the population is fully vaccinated. See COVID-19 Updates for more information.

All New Mexicans age 5 and older are approved to be vaccinated. Everyone 18 and older is eligible for a booster 6 months after completing the Pfizer/Moderna vaccination series and 2 months after a J&J vaccination. Pfizer boosters have now been approved for 16-17 year olds.

Free at-home tests available. Knowing if you have COVID-19 can help you seek proper treatment and prevent you from spreading the virus to your family and community. Tests require a quick swab inside each nostril, and results can be read in just minutes. Go to FindaTestNM.org and enter your zip code to identify the different test options available to you: order tests by mail or pick up free tests in your community. For those without internet access, call the NMDOH hotline at 1-855-600-3455 to get assistance.

See below for more COVID-19 information and for resources on how you can engage your community and help New Mexicans get vaccinated.
